How we planned our trip:

We started our trip from Nashik from where we took our car to Saputara. The roads from Nashik to Saputara are extra smooth and it takes around one to one and a half hours to reach there around 80 Kms.

Once we reached there we looked for some hotels through the Goibibo app and checked a few by visiting the locations. After visiting a few locations we settled at Savshanti lake resort. We could call it the best resort if you are looking for something near the lake and the costs are not heavy on the pockets as well.

After resting for some time at the Resort, we left for our first destination of the day Table point, also known as the Governor hill where we watched the sunset while having some amazing tea and pakodas. We spent the rest of the evening relaxing at the spot and got to see the amazing Night view of Saputara from the top.

After visiting the sunset point we had some dinner at one of the places (you do not get good non-veg food in Saputara) and called it a day.

The next day we started by chilling at the resort near the lake and had lunch at the resort itself, it offered some Gujarati Thali. So it’s one of the things you can try on your trip here.

After our lunch at the resort we had planned for some paragliding but we did not get to do it because of the strong winds, So we headed to the next beautiful spot the Saputara Ropeway. The Ride cost Rs 70 and it takes you from one mountain to another and the ride offers a beautiful top view of the city. once you reach the other side just like the table point you can watch the sunset from here as well and also do many of the activities that are offered here.

After visiting the Saputara ropeway, we headed to do some boating at the Saputara lake. The cost of the boating at the lake is around Rs300 for the pedal boat for around 30 mins. After boating we had dinner at hotel Sunotel, the food is Okish and not all that great for the quality of a 5 star hotel.

The next morning we visited a few more places like the aquarium, the Jain temple and rose garden. All the places are visiting but can be skipped as well. Jain Temple is worth visiting. We had some breakfast at one of the tea
